When a domain is listed, bidders compete by placing bids before the countdown reaches zero. The highest bidder when the timer expires wins the domain. We implement anti-sniping protection — if a bid is placed in the final 5 minutes, the timer extends by 5 minutes to give other bidders a fair chance. All bids are binding.

Upon winning, you receive an email confirmation and are prompted to complete payment within 48 hours. After payment clears, our team initiates the domain transfer process to your HOSXI account. You'll receive EPP / auth codes or we can manage the transfer directly. Most transfers complete within 24–72 hours.

Bids are binding once placed and cannot be retracted except in exceptional circumstances (e.g., the domain listing was materially misrepresented). To request a bid retraction, contact support within 1 hour of placing the bid with a valid reason. HOSXI reserves the right to refuse retraction requests.

No. HOSXI charges zero buyer's premium. The price you bid is the price you pay — there are no hidden commissions, processing fees, or surprise charges. Sellers pay a small listing fee only upon a successful sale.

Expired domains are those whose registration period lapsed and were not renewed. They enter a pendingDelete cycle before being released back to the public pool. Expiring domains are those approaching their expiry date and may be listed by their current owners. Both types can carry valuable link equity, brand history, and search engine authority.

None. HOSXI operates with full pricing transparency. The bid you win is the final amount charged. Optional services like WHOIS privacy, domain lock, and hosting are separate add-ons you can choose to purchase — they are never bundled or auto-charged.
